I started out learning a trade as industrial buyer, but quickly realized that this wasn´t what I was made for. The traditional barber craft had always inspired me. And cutting hair just seemed to come naturally to me-I had been cutting friends hair for years. So I set off with the long term goal of becoming a barber and started training as a hairdresser. During that time I did work experience training at Holy Tiger and ended up moving from Germany to Graz. And here I am. This is what I´m made for. Barbering is a lifestyle. Its creative. I´m fascinated by how grooming can change a man. The right haircut and beard trim can give a man an entire new image. It makes a statement about the type of person he is, enhancing confidence and style. It´s inspiring to watch excellent barbers at work. Each barber has their own unique style and technique. Barbering is an ongoing learning process. I inspire to keep up with trends while following in the footsteps of great traditional barbers. I´m passionate and dedicated to the barbering profession and barber craftmanship. I´m organized, reliable and value my customer´s time. I use my judgement, getting to know the customer, finding out what he wants and offering alternatives if he´s looking for a new image. When the customer keeps coming back, I get to know his hair and his preferences. He knows what to expect. I put my customers first and deliver my best every time.

Hi, I´m André… Although I'm not very tall, my passion for this craft is even greater. I have completed my hairdressing apprenticeship and have already gained several years of professional experience. The interest in the traditional craft was crucial for my career aspiration. Through training as a barber I got the chance to prove my love for this craft. I started at Holy Tiger and perfected my techniques under Jürgen's strict eyes. The best thing is to do what you love. My passion is the traditional craft. Bringing this craft to my customers on a daily basis is a great feeling and I am always looking forward to serving my customers in the best possible way

Greetings. My name is Dean. I was born in 1982 in a small Slovenian town near the Austrian border called Maribor. I am a positive, love working with people, upbeat, reliable and always try to bring that energy into my work and daily life. My road to being a Barber was long and hard with me working and studying since the age of 15 doing hard physical labour and for more than 8 years. Eventually I transitioned to the service industry which I think brought me the most experience with dealing with wishes and needs of the customer where I spent the next 10 years working home and abroad in countries like Slovenia, Austria, Ireland, Canada. Knowing I would not be happy with galloping around from work to work I turned to the barber trade. My first barber experience was as a small boy in the USA with my father getting a shave while we visited in 1993. After I came home I was the only one in my friends circle to have a clipper so I started cutting mohawks and balds and simple stuff like my own hair because I was in the punk and hardcore music scene very early in my life so that was and still is a major influence in my life. In 2015 I saw the Schorem guys Leen and Rob and all the others and I loved the scene from the start with cool guys cutting hair cool hair and pompadours and tattoos and a cool classic style. It was something with what I could relate and I thought to myself I want to do this for the rest of my life. I can do this. How can get in? As luck would have it I saw an advertisment on Facebook. Barber wanted. Holy Tiger. I knew this was my chance so I applied and thankfully Jürgen took me under his wing where he shared his vast experience with me and after almost a year of hard training I finished my basic education with a diploma from the now world famous Old school academy in Rotterdam. I think my road to being a Holy Tiger barber made me love the craft, lifestyle and our customers even more. My 3 biggest influences in the scene are Jürgen my Mentor, Rob from Schorem and Johnny Baba. I try to incorporate their styles and blend them into something with my own but still classic.

I finished my training at one of Great Britain’s most prestigious company where unique techniques are given priority. After that, I worked as a style director and at this time I also performed with the International Artistic Team from London and led several seminars in german speaking countries. To be a Barber is my commitment for life, not my job. 2016 my dream came true and I opened the first traditionell Barbershop in Graz, Austria. I worked very hard and trained every day at and after work. It‘s my passion and I always want to give my best. Only when I give all I can I‘m satisfied. So in 2017 I got the titles „Austrias Best Barber“ and „Best International Barber 3rd Place“. It was and is always a concern to me to offer my clients a great service and high quality and the pursuit of perfectionism. Train hard, love what you do, do it with passion, be yourself and never give up. You never stop learning.
